Beontag acquires RFID NFC and BLE specialists Confidex

Confidex and Beontag merge

The global graphic and label company Beontag announced today the acquisition of Confidex who are one of the worlds leading providers of RFID, NFC and BLE solutions in logistics and mobility. Beontag has an already well established global reach and the worlds second-largest RFID company.

This acquisition follows those of Lad-ID based in Italy, Digital Tags based in France, Temera in Italy and Store Enso’s Ecotag technology, demonstrating Beontags aggressive worldwide growth through acquisition.

Confidex has been innovating and pioneering RFID technology since 2005 with operations in France, Netherlands, Finland, China and the USA and over those 17 years have built partnerships with mobility, logistics and industrial companies to use their technology. Confidex claim they are the worlds number one supplier of industrial grade RAIN RFID tags which are UHF technology tags. They are also specialists in RFID tickets and labels with over 120 toll collection operators using their technology.

Beontag have over 37 years market experience with a large portfolio of technical products in retails service and industrial sectors. They claim to have the best-in-class manufacturing facilities, although that claim is also made by other leading brands. Beontag have a range of technical solutions including IoT, RFID and software, with a specialist in making supply chains more sustainable.
